began her violin studies at age 4 in Tokyo; received her Masters of Music degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, USA in 2000; main teachers include Mauricio Fuks and Abram Shtern; attended Master classes by Pinchas Zukerman, Pierre Amoyal, Victor Pikaisen, Camilla Wicks und Sylvia Rosenberg;Chamber music coached by R. Dubinsky (Borodin Quartet), K. Ikeda (Tokyo Quartet), T. Tsutsumi and S. Neriki; lives in Switzerland where she is a member of the „Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen“ since 2003.
